I just listened to the whole thing here and might I say, I’m kinda disappointed. Aim and ignite is probs one of my favorite albums by any band everrrrrrr. It’s beautiful. And Nate Ruess has such a powerful and brilliant voice. It’s such a shame to see that they used autotune on this album. To me, it just takes away from the whole listening experience. When I heard “Carry On” a while ago and heard a little bit of autotune in it, I got kind of worried that there would be a lot of it on the album, and there unfortunately is. Nevertheless, fun. is still an amazing band, and just because their new album is a bit more “modern” doesn’t mean that they aren’t extremely talented.
